Terms
Website and app terms of use.
Last updated: 6 August 2026
These terms apply when you use the SoloDocket website, app and related services. By creating an account or using SoloDocket, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. If you use SoloDocket for a business, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that business.
Your account
You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in details and keep your contact details current. You are responsible for activity through your account. Tell us promptly at info@solodocket.com.au if you believe someone has accessed it without permission.
Free trial and subscriptions
SoloDocket Pro includes a seven-day trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription renews using the plan you selected.
The current prices are $9.99 AUD a week, charged as $39.96 every 28 days, or $399 AUD yearly. Prices and any applicable taxes are shown before you confirm a purchase. SoloDocket does not have an ongoing free plan.
Purchases, renewals, cancellations and refunds may be managed by the Apple App Store, Google Play or another payment provider used at checkout. Their payment terms also apply. Unless the law or the payment provider requires otherwise, fees already charged are not refundable. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
If a trial or Pro subscription ends, paid features may stop. Existing records will remain readable and exportable for a reasonable period, subject to these terms and any account closure request.
Acceptable use
You may use SoloDocket only for lawful business purposes. You must not:
- access another person's account or records without authority;
- upload unlawful, misleading, harmful or malicious content;
- interfere with the service, its security or connected systems;
- reverse engineer, scrape, copy in bulk or bypass access limits, except where the law expressly allows it;
- use SoloDocket to harass, discriminate against or harm another person; or
- use the service in a way that breaches privacy, health, disability, workplace, tax or record-keeping laws.
Your provider responsibilities
SoloDocket helps you organise records and prepare invoices. You remain responsible for:
- having a lawful basis and any consent or authority needed to collect participant and representative information;
- delivering services safely and within your qualifications, registration, agreements and insurance;
- choosing the correct support item, rate, quantity, tax treatment and invoice recipient;
- checking the accuracy and completeness of every record and invoice before using or sending it;
- keeping any records required by the NDIS, tax law, an agreement or another legal obligation; and
- responding to payment questions, audits, complaints and disputes relating to your services.
Participant records, confirmation and signatures
A signature or confirmation records what was entered at that time. It does not prove that a service met every legal, contractual or NDIS requirement. You must make sure the person confirming a record understands what they are confirming and is authorised to do so. If a signature is not possible, any reason you record must be accurate.
You must not enter unnecessary clinical detail, private information or material that you are not authorised to hold. Corrections should be made honestly. Where SoloDocket preserves an original record and the reason for a change, you must not try to hide or misrepresent that history.
Invoices and accounting
SoloDocket can prepare an invoice from information you approve, send it when you direct us to, or prepare information for an accounting service such as Xero. You are responsible for the final invoice, its recipient and any action taken in another platform. SoloDocket does not guarantee payment or reimbursement.
NDIS and professional information
SoloDocket is an independent product. It is not part of, affiliated with or endorsed by the National Disability Insurance Agency or the NDIS. References to NDIS support items, pricing or processes are general product information. They are not legal, clinical, accounting, tax or financial advice.
SoloDocket does not decide participant eligibility, manage plan funds, interpret an award, run payroll, provide case management or guarantee that a claim or invoice will be accepted. You must check current requirements for your circumstances and obtain professional advice when needed.
Location and device permissions
If you allow location access, SoloDocket may save a location when you choose to clock in or clock out while the app is open. You are responsible for obtaining any notice, consent or workplace authority needed before using this feature. You can manage permission in your device settings, but turning it off may limit location-based record features.
Offline use and syncing
Some shift features may work without a connection and sync later. Syncing can be delayed or fail because of a device, connection, storage setting or third-party service. Before relying on a record or sending an invoice, check that changes have synced and that the displayed information is complete.
Third-party services
SoloDocket may work with app stores, payment providers, email services, accounting platforms and other third-party products. Those services are controlled by their providers and have their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control their availability, pricing, security or decisions. A reference to a third party is not an endorsement, and its trade marks belong to its owner.
Your content
You keep ownership of the records, notes, attachments and other content you enter. You give us a limited permission to host, process, back up, transmit and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve SoloDocket, follow your instructions and meet legal obligations.
You confirm that you have the rights and authority needed to provide that content. You are responsible for maintaining your own exports or copies where they are needed for business or legal purposes.
SoloDocket intellectual property
We own or license the SoloDocket app, website, branding, designs, text, software and related intellectual property. These terms give you a limited, personal, revocable and non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership to you. You must not reproduce, adapt, publish or commercially exploit our material without written permission, except where the law allows it.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. By using SoloDocket, you acknowledge those practices and agree to provide any privacy notices or obtain any consent required for information you enter about another person.
Availability and changes to the service
We may maintain, update, add, change or remove features to keep SoloDocket secure and useful. We do not promise that every feature or third-party connection will always be available or error-free. Where practical, we will give reasonable notice of a material change that significantly reduces a paid service.
Suspension, cancellation and account closure
You can cancel a subscription through the store or payment provider used to purchase it. You can also ask us to close your account. We may restrict or suspend access if reasonably needed to protect the service or another person, investigate suspected misuse, respond to non-payment or comply with law.
We may end an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms. Where practical and lawful, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to export records. Terms that are intended to continue, including intellectual property, liability and payment obligations, remain in effect after an account ends.
Consumer rights, disclaimers and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes a consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or another law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the maximum extent the law allows, SoloDocket is provided on an as available basis. We do not promise that it will meet every business, NDIS, tax or record-keeping requirement. You must review records, maintain suitable backups and make your own professional and business decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, special or incidental loss, including lost profit, revenue, opportunity, reputation or data. Our liability is reduced to the extent a loss was caused or increased by your act, omission, inaccurate information, failure to review a record or use of a third-party service. You must take reasonable steps to reduce any loss.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service or the law changes. The latest version will be posted here with a new date. We will provide additional notice where a change materially affects a paid subscription. Continuing to use SoloDocket after the updated terms take effect means you accept them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You submit to the courts of Victoria and any courts that hear appeals from them.
